Intel® Unnati Data-Centric Labs in Emerging Technologies (Artificial Intelligence Lab)

About the Lab

The “Intel® Centre of Excellence- Intel Unnati (Artificial Intelligence Lab)” is focused on technology inclusion and advancing students’ skills in emerging technology. Programs under Unnati are curated to equip engineering students with relevant data-centric skills and cultivate them to be industry-ready, providing a strategic impetus to India’s digital economy transformation. Through a network of system integrators, WCTM set up Intel® Unnati Data-Centric Lab in emerging technologies. Empowering Students with Industry Leading Labs, Intel Unnati labs include hardware and software stack recommendations from Intel experts, course content including hands on exercises and co-branded course completion certificates for students. There are a number of community initiatives rolled out – Grand Challenge competitions, Industrial Trainings, Tech Workshops, and Research Grants - to provide a platform for long-term engagement and industry exposure to Academia. This initiative will provide the students with long-term capabilities in technology and lab infrastructure, playing a key role in bridging the industry-academia skill gap in the country.

Objective of the lab

The main objective of this lab is to provide state-of-the art facilities within an inspiring research setting, to improve opportunities for interdisciplinary working and research excellence at WCTM thereby solving real-world problems through a huge network of partnerships and collaborations.
